Hi! My name is Lisa Liddiard. I am married to Kevin Liddiard, a retired Army sergeant who works as a Computer Engineer for a government contractor in Lawton, Oklahoma. I have an precocious six year old son, Seth who keeps his mom and dad pretty busy. In addition to Seth, I have two beautiful stepdaughters, Hollie and Hayley. I am also the mommy of two dogs Angus, a Scottish Border Collie and Audrey, a Blue Heeler mix. In addition to our dogs, we are proud kitty parents to a slew of cats running around our property-Sparta, Pumpkin, Little Grey, Clover and her kittens, Atticus, Scout, Boo Radley, and Jazzy.
I am an Army brat who was born in Taipei, Taiwan but I spent most of my childhood and a fair amount of my adult years in Lawton, Oklahoma. I am an alumnus of Lawton High School who after a number years working with children in daycare, decided to pursue a degree in education. I graduated from Cameron University with a Bachelor's degree in Education in 1999 and with my Masters in Early Childhood Education in 2006.
Kindergarten is my passion and pretty much what I have always wanted to do with my life. I began teaching at Big Pasture right out college in 1999 (thank you Mr. Ritter for taking a chance on a rookie)! I am beginning my 16th-WOW- year as Big Pasture's kindergarten teacher. It is hard to imagine that some of my first kinders are now juniors in college! Time flies when you are having fun and I've had plenty of that. Big Pasture has truly become like my home and its people my family. I feel very blessed to have taught the many wonderful children I have had in my class over the years. Each has had a hand in making me the teacher I am today. I am very proud to say I teach at Big Pasture. .
